In this line

Five glass types.

Safety glazing is where most architectural projects start. We combine the strength and toughness of tempering with the safety of lamination, so glass can protect people, resist impact and, in structural build-ups, become part of the frame itself.

Heat-treatedTempered safety glass

Float glass heated and rapidly quenched so its surfaces sit in compression. It is several times stronger than annealed glass of the same thickness and, if broken, crumbles into small granular pieces instead of sharp shards. All cutting, holes and edgework happen before tempering.

Example build-up; final build-up per project

Where protection meets aestheticsLaminated safety glass

Lamination joins two pieces of glass of any thickness with an interlayer. If the glass breaks, the interlayer retains the pieces and helps prevent injuries. The same build-up adds acoustic insulation and filters UV radiation.

Where the window becomes the wallStructural glass

Combines the strength and toughness of tempered glass with the safety of lamination. A highly rigid interlayer resists penetration and the environment, so glass can work as fins, floors, stair treads, canopies and frameless façades.

Patterned interlayerDot-laminated glass

A laminated pane whose interlayer carries a dot pattern. It adds shading and a degree of visual privacy, and marks large glazed areas, while keeping the post-breakage retention of laminated glass.

Materials sealed insideInterlayer-encast glass

Metal mesh, fabric, veneer or printed film encapsulated within the interlayer. You get a laminated safety build-up with a finish nobody else on the street has.

Why source this line from Mexico

Closer factories, calmer schedules.

NearshoringFewer handling points for heavy plates

Tempered and laminated plates travel over land in A-frames and crates, without the port transfers and transloads of an ocean shipment.

NearshoringA broken pane is a short reorder

Replacement or missing panes come from Mexico by truck instead of waiting for the next container from Asia.

NearshoringWitness the mock-up in person

Partner factories are a short flight away in similar time zones, so you can inspect samples and test panels before production.
