Ten glass processes, one sourcing partner.

Our partner factories in Mexico cover the full chain from float glass to finished unit: forming, heat treatment, lamination, insulation and decoration, all under one brief.

Kiln casting: glass pieces melting into a refractory mouldkiln · mould · glass melts to shape
Forming

Kiln casting

Glass is melted into a refractory mould inside a kiln and cooled slowly, producing thick, textured pieces with depth no flat sheet can match.

Used for
Feature panels, textured screens, sculptural elements

Sandblasting nozzle frosting half of a glass panesandblast or acid-etch to a satin finish
Finishing

Sandblasting & acid etching

Abrasive blasting or acid etching turns a clear surface into a satin, translucent finish. Masks let us frost patterns, bands and logos while leaving the rest clear.

Used for
Privacy bands, partitions, shower screens, manifestation markings

Hot compression molding: a softened sheet pressed between a top and bottom diehot compression forming between dies
Forming

Molding

Hot compression forming presses softened glass between dies to give it a three-dimensional shape with repeatable geometry.

Used for
Concave pieces, lighting, formed components

Curved & Specialty Glass
Annealing curve: heat, hold, then slow controlled cooling to relieve internal stresstemperaturetimeholdcontrolledcoolingheat
Heat treatment

Annealing

Glass is held at temperature and then cooled slowly under control, relieving internal stresses so it can be cut and processed reliably.

Used for
All float glass before further processing; cast and formed pieces

Tempering: a sheet heated in a furnace then rapidly quenched by air jetsheatair quenchrapid quench locks surfaces in compression
Heat treatment

Tempering

Glass is heated close to its softening point and quenched rapidly with air. The surfaces lock into compression, making the pane several times stronger, and if it breaks it shatters into small granular pieces.

Used for
Doors, storefronts, balustrades, showers, façades

Laminating: two glass plies and an interlayer pressed through rollers then cured in an autoclaveautoclaveglass + interlayer + glass, bonded
Assembly

Laminating

Two or more plies are bonded with an interlayer under heat and pressure. If broken, the interlayer holds the fragments in place. Interlayers also add acoustic damping, UV filtering, colour or structural stiffness.

Used for
Overhead glazing, structural glass, acoustic and coloured glass

Insulating glass unit: two plies separated by a spacer with a sealed air spacesealedair spacespacertwo plies, one sealed cavity
Assembly

Insulating (IGU)

Two or more plies are separated by a spacer and sealed around the edge, enclosing a dry air or gas space that improves thermal and acoustic performance.

Used for
Façades, windows, skylights, integrated-blind units

Stress profiles: heat-strengthened glass carries a shallower compression profile than tempered glasstemperedheat-strengthenedabout 2x annealed, flatter surface
Heat treatment

Heat strengthening

A slower quench than tempering gives roughly twice the strength of annealed glass, with better surface flatness than tempered glass. It is often the right choice inside laminated build-ups.

Used for
Laminated façade glass, spandrels, curved laminated

Glass blowing: a molten gather inflating at the end of a blowpipea gather of molten glass inflated on a pipe
Forming

Glass blowing

Molten glass gathered on a blowpipe is inflated and shaped by hand or in a mould, for hollow and organic forms.

Used for
Lighting, decorative objects, bespoke elements

Digital printing: a print head moving across a pane, leaving a printed patternceramic inks printed, then fired in
Decoration

Digital printing

Designs, patterns, solid colours and logos are printed in ceramic ink directly onto the glass and fired in during tempering, so the image becomes part of the surface.

Used for
Façades, brand walls, frit patterns, signage
